Campus MovieFest (CMF) is thrilled to welcome you to the 2010 Southern Regional Grand Finale of the world's largest student film and music festival. The unforgettable events in Atlanta on Saturday, March 27, feature the top short CMF movies from around the Southeast, special industry guests, networking opportunities, prizes, and very special awards. Plus, this year brings a showcase of top student bands from around the Southeast during the weekend.
Campus MovieFest Southern Regional Grand Finale
The Campus MovieFest Southern Regional Grand Finale is your chance to see the best of the best, held at the Tabernacle in downtown Atlanta on Saturday, March 27. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show begins at 8pm for this black-tie optional red carpet event. The evening features 16 of the top movies, selected by a regional panel of judges. In addition, CMF will award exclusive Golden Tripod Awards, huge door prizes, special presenters, and all the movie awards.
Campus MovieFest Southern Regional Screenings
The top 60 movies selected from the participating colleges and universities will be showcased at the Tabernacle during day-long screenings on Saturday from 10am - 4:45pm. All team leaders in attendance will be invited to answer questions from the audience.
College Battle of the Bands
The top student bands from the Southeast will perform and win prizes at the College Battle of the Bands Southern Semi-Final. Join us for a chance to relax, have fun, and win more prizes. Join us immediately following the awards ceremony at the Cotton Club (conveniently located below the Tabernacle) for a chance to relax, have fun, and win more prizes. No tickets necessary.
About Campus MovieFest
Originally created by four students, and now the world's largest student film and music festival, CMF is the only event of its kind to provide Apple laptops, HD Panasonic cameras, AT&T Samsung Handsets, and training all for free to tens of thousands of students around the globe. Students have one week to create their own short movies at over 50 colleges and universities, with each school hosting red carpet finales to showcase its top movies. The best of the best move on to the CMF regional grand finales in San Francisco, Atlanta, or New York City. These regional events determine the top student teams that move onto the CMF International Grand Finale in June 2010.
